Product Description
Spherical roller bearings with two rollers, mainly designed to bear radial loads, but also capable of withstanding axial loads in either direction. These bearings feature a high radial load capacity, making them particularly suitable for heavy loads or vibration applications, though they cannot bear pure axial loads.
The outer ring raceway has a spherical shape, providing excellent self-aligning performance that compensates for concentricity errors. The design includes two symmetrical spherical rollers and a common spherical outer ring raceway, with the inner ring featuring two axis-tilted raceway angles.
This aligning capability allows the bearing to function normally even when the shaft is bent or installed with misalignment. The permissible aligning angle varies with bearing size, typically ranging from 1 to 2.5 degrees. In addition to handling radial loads, these bearings can accommodate axial loads and demonstrate good impact resistance. Generally, self-aligning roller bearings operate at lower speeds than other bearing types.
